Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory

education-k-12

The Texas A&M University (TAMU), Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) in College Station is currently in the process of building a new, state-of-the-art diagnostic lab. The much needed new building will house one of the largest veterinary diagnostic laboratories in the country, allowing the agency to continue to operate the most sophisticated diagnostic equipment available and conduct state-of-the-art testing to support veterinarians and animal owners. The current TVMDL College Station laboratory was built in 1969, and since has had three expansions, in 1978, 1992 and 2004. The diagnostic laboratory handles more than 825,000 tests per year from clients in Texas, the United States and around the world.

Z6 Commissioning performed building envelope testing services, including chamber testing on (2) curtain wall specimens for Air Infiltration (ASTM E 783) and Water Infiltration (ASTM E 1105) testing, field Nozzle testing on 50% of the window systems per AAMA 501.2.8, and storefront systems as well as roof uplift testing per ASTM E 907.
