From complex, high-rise commercial buildings to intricate healthcare facilities and civic institutions, Zero/Six Consulting provides architectural and structural peer review services to ensure the work performed follows the plans and specifications set forth by the architect.
Our peer reviews typically include “redlined” copies of the Architect/Engineer (A/E) provided documents with flagged omissions, current gaps, and potential conflicts highlighted in a catalogued spreadsheet that tracks all review comments made by the Client, the Contractor, A/E and sub-consultants. Both the redlined documents and spreadsheet are stored (and accessible) through Blue Beam Studio or similar web-based shared sites. Additionally, Zero/Six delivers a proposed solution for issues identified to the Client and the A/E for review as part of our standard service. Peer review items that are not resolved through the peer review process are tracked to closure via the Outstanding Issues (OI) Log. The OI Log documents issues raised by all parties, inquiry date, effected disciplines, issue resolution, and resolution date. These alterations made during the design phase can help prevent inadequate performance of the envelope, as well as costly rework or remediation efforts in the future.
