Zero/Six is proud to announce several new team promotions for 2021. While all of these employees have been with us for a while, they’re taking on new roles, boosting their expertise, and helping us expand our services. Join us in congratulating them on their advancement!
Brandon McDermott, Vice President of Operations
Brandon was previously our Senior Project Manager. He’s a former Fighting Texas Aggie and has been with Zero/Six since 2016. As an integral part of our management team, Brandon has improved our proposal and scheduling process and streamlined company communications. In his spare time, he’s also the manager and lead vocal for The Brandon McDermott Band.
Jeffrey T. Bishop, (P.E., LEED Green Associate) Vice President of Engineering
Jeffery joined Zero/Six in May 2012 and earned his Professional Engineering license in 2017. He is also an appointed qualified inspector with the Texas Department of Insurance providing windstorm inspections for both residential and commercial structures. Jeff and his family live in Galveston, where he enjoys surfing or playing golf in his spare time.
Chase Coltzer, Sr. Field Representative / Technical Associate
Chase has been hanging around the Zero/Six office since he was a kid, and he’s learned quite a lot along the way! He started his career in construction management and is now working in dispute resolution.
Darryl Castleberry, Regional Manager / Hill Country
Darryl joined Z6 in 2017, where he serviced various University of Texas projects in the Texas Hill Country. Now, as a regional manager, he will provide local leadership for one of our most loyal and long-standing clients. Darryl is also a certified Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider (BECxP).
Eddie Solis, Regional Manager / North Texas
Eddie has been with Z6 since 2016 and has focused his work on serving the Rio Grande Valley as a Senior Field Specialist. He recently relocated to the DFW Metroplex to manage existing clients and help expand our client base.
Lane Coston, Sr. Roofing / Waterproofing Professional
Lane joined Z6 as an inspector, and in his short time here he has proven his value! We’ve observed that he is more of a “fixer” than an inspector, so we’ve updated his job title to reflect that. Lane previously worked with Chamberlin Roofing & Waterproofing.
Nick Roque & Colin Dagostino, Senior Associate
Nick joined Z6 in 2015 and has worked as an Assistant project manager with our testing team. Colin has been with the company since 2016 and works in our engineering department as an inspector; he’s the guy making sure our sketches match reality!
